Hi!
I guess I should start out telling you that the us is really just a me.
:-)
My name is Christy and I am a Born Again Believer who lives for my Lord.
Everything I do I do to glorify his name.
A little over two years ago I was a
dummy when it came to doing anything on a computer......heck when I got one I
didn't even know how to turn it on but with a lot of determination I taught
myself everything I now know about one which is still a long ways from being an
expert. While surfing the net I saw so many lovely web sites that I just
had to know how to build them too so I purchased Front Page and sat down to
learn how to build pages. My first attempt was to design a
Christian area where the whole family could go and just sit back and enjoy
themselves and spend time with God.
I was a car hauler for General Motors for over 18 years and suffered the damages that happen to the body from all the grueling work that went along with the job. You see , we had to load & unload our own trucks so I was constantly banged my fingers, smacked my elbows, twisted my ankles, falling on my behind. I dented my head, dented my knee, fell off the truck, sprained my wrist and much more not counting the hours I worked from about 4 a.m. to well past 10 p.m. day after day, year after year. In the process I now suffer a damaged back, a sore wrist and a damaged hip joint from all the contortions I had to do to load and unload the truck. A little over 2 and a half years ago I had to leave work on workers comp because of my hip. I know that little pay won't go on much longer and I needed to do something to help support myself. I haven't anyone left in this world to turn to for help ... ...so I turned to the Lord. and asked now what do I do Lord?........

I had the domain name of "Angelkisses " which I was using for the other site but than after praying about it I was told that I could use it to serve a dual purpose. I had a great love for angels, so I decided to open an Angel Gift Store for by doing this I would be helping myself find another way to support myself being as the doctor said I could never return to my job.......ok!!...good idea!....But how?
I
had to get a license so I could buy wholesale and once that was done I went to a
Buyers Show in Detroit, Michigan. I fell in love with the United
Design Angels and purchased a couple and was on my way. I was hopeing with
honesty , integrity and word of mouth, that I would soon be found on the net and
could build the business up so that when I lost my compensation I would have
something to live on. It was very slow going for the first year and a half
but word has gotten around that I always deal fairly and as quickly as I
can with customers.
I do not have a Brick & Mortar store so it is impossible for me to
maintain the huge inventory they can. I call in my orders on Fridays &
usually I'll have them by the next week and the buyer has them in less than two
weeks. Once in awhile it takes a wee bit longer but that doesn't
happen too often. The 9/11 bombing caused a slow down in orders because
China (where the products come from) wasn't able too ship for awhile
but they are getting caught back up now. Thank Heavens.
After hours & hours & tons of work building the site I (which is a never ending project) I have since added more and more to the store to where now I am the largest seller of Angels, Christian Gifts & more on the net. Doing everything all alone is exhausting work but I keep plugging away at it. As I am no where near able to afford help . Hopefully I will soon so I can take a breather.
